| The pool was a lot closer than the tournament... |
 Rory was definitely the pick this week. Dave A. had the best
team of the 10 players who had the young Irishman and won this
year's final major by a mere $7,900 over Brett. That's so close
it gives me a headache trying to figure out what made the
difference. Brett had all 7 golfers make the cut (to Dave's 6)
but came up pretty much one stroke short. It was Dave's 7th
career major win, a Pool record, and a pool leading 3rd win of
the year. Chris benefited from a 72nd hole birdie by unique
pick t7 Steve Sticker to sneak into the last money spot and cash
for the 3rd consecutive week. Bill finished on the bubble,
missing the money by only $7,023.Chris still has a big lead in the Summer Season battle. Dave B. remained in 2nd. Brett moved up one spot back into 3rd. Dan fell one position to 4th. Chris maintained his "T.M.C." lead. Brett jumped up from 4th to 2nd place. Dave B. stayed in 3rd and Steve moved up from 5th to 4th. In the Year-Long race, Bill and Randy remained 1st and 2nd. Brett and Chris came up one spot each to 3rd and 4th, respectively. Rest up kids. We've got next week off then we start our big finish of 3 weeks in a row starting with, in about 10 days, the Barclays Classic. This year they are playing at Bethpage Black, the tough public course near New York City. And, of course, Nick, Jerrod, Heath and Audra will all be there. I don't know how Nick's going to get along with the New York crowd... could be ugly. Get those picks in on time. Later,
