The Barclays Picks Are Up!

Can you feel the pressure of the playoffs?...

Let's Get It On!The organized picks and round one standings for this week's tournament are on the site.  We chose 28 golfers.  The Tiger and Henrik Stenson are co-favorites, both picked 11 times.  Jason Day and Adam Scott show up on 8 teams each.  Matt Kuchar got the nod 7 times.  Young Jordan Spieth made the cut for 6 players.  Keegan Bradley, Lee Westwood, Jim Furyk, Webb Simpson and D.J. were picked 5 times each.  The winners of the last 2 majors, Mickelson and Dufner, are on 4 teams each.  Bill Haas is the only trey.  Mahan, Horschel, McIlroy and Snedeker are all deuces.

Ten unique picks.  Chris is the leader with 4.  Shelley is a close 2nd with 3.  Dan and both Daves have one each.  That means 10 of us could not find Barclays uniqueness.

The picks are about as spread out as they have been all year.  Only a couple of favorites and only a few players with uniques, but then lots mid-favorites.  I predict a lot of lead changes throughout the weekend.  It doesn't look like the Barclay clan will be there this weekend.  Nick got into it with some Jersey boys and Jarred is trying to bail him out.  Nobody knows, or cares, where Heath is and Audra was going to just hang around and look good, which is all she ever did, but left when she found out Dustin Johnson's getting married.  According to Wikipedia, Linda Evans (Audra) was married to John Derek during the filming of "The Big Valley" TV series.  John Derek was apparently quite a stud.  Before he was married to Evans he was married to Ursula Andress, Honey Rider in the James Bond movie "Dr. No".  Then after Evans he married Bo Derek.  I think his next wife was Oprah, but I can't confirm that.  And that is all the 60's/70's Entertainment Tonight facts you will get this week.

And yea, yea, it's gonna be a good one too...

Let's get it on!

Later,
