Dan Wins The Deutsche Bank!

Number 3 in the World and we pick him as a deuce... that had to piss him off...

The Rule 20-6 Golf Pool Tournament #17 trophy.Only two of us thought winner Rory McIlroy would get his putting figured out this week and those players, as one would expect, finished 1-2.  Dan won this week by $148,143 over Mike M.  Their teams were different by only two golfers and the difference maker for Dan was T8 Ryan Moore.  It was Dan's 2nd win of the year.  Mike's 2nd place finish was his 7th tournament cash in 2016.  I ended up a distant 3rd, over $1.2 million behind Mike.  Steve found the bubble this week, missing a cash by $23,354.

Going into the final tournament I increased my Summer Season lead slightly to $324,204.  Bill is still 2nd.  Mike M. made a huge jump from 9th to 3rd and trails Bill by $522,737.  Brian G. stayed in 4th and trails Mike by only $17,744.

I still lead the Year-Long race, but Mike M. moved up from 3rd to 2nd and cut my lead to a mere $30,763.  Jordie dropped to 3rd and is about $1.6 million behind Mike.  Bill moved up one spot to 4th and is $408,125 out of the last money spot.

One more to go and it's coming quick.  In about 2˝ days we head west to Crooked Stick G.C. in Carmel, Indiana and and the BMW Championship.  This is the 3rd Fed-Ex Playoff event and they reduce the field down to 70, so there will be no cut.  It will all be on the line for us, the Summer Season, the "TMC" and the Year-Long pools are up for grabs.  These are all closer then they've been for a few years.  This is what great golf pooling is all about.  Pick carefully 'cause the fat very well might be in the fire.

Get those picks in on time.

Later,
