| Uniques are good but cut makers are better... |
 Jordie was the only player to have 6
golfers make the cut and he used them all to squeak out a win
this week by $2,432 over Brian T. The top 3 finishers all had
winner Rickie Fowler, T2 Gary Woodland, plus T14's Adam Scott
and Sergio. Jordie's other two golfer finished in the top 30.
Brian T., who picked up his first career cash this week, had all
5 of his cut-makers in the top 20 but needed one stroke less
stroke out of T14 Brendan Steele (his only different golfer than
Jordie). Mike M. finished 3rd, $104,400 behind Brian, with the
4 aforementioned golfers. Randy ended up 4th, missing the money
by just under $229k.The season standings are a lot like the tournament standings, this being the first tourney of the year. We will get back on it in about 10 days on the West Coast of Florida, somewhere around Tampa, for The Valspar Championship. We haven't played this tournament for 10 years and for some reason I don't even remember watching it in recent years. It hasn't been a Pool event, so who cares... right? I think the course is pretty tough, tighter than the average Tour course, so the bombers will probably skip it. Hopefully the field will be fairly strong. I don't know these Web.com Tour grads so well. Get those picks in on time. Later,
