Mike D. Wins The Heritage!

Winner Brandt Snedeker and t4 Ricky Barnes lead him to his second victory of the year...

The Rule 20-6 Tournament #7 TrophyIf Luke Donald had won the playoff, Mike D. would have finished 11th.  But Brandt Snedeker won on the third playoff hole and Mike won this week's event by $159,933 over Chris.  Chris was the only other player to have Snedeker and would have ended up 12th if Donald had won, but Mike's pick of t4 Ricky Barnes made the difference between the players.  Elise was in the money regardless of who won the playoff and a Donald victory would have put her on top of the standings, but Luke didn't come through for her and she ended up 3rd, $223,744 behind Chris.  Hugh and Bill tied for 4th and missed the money by $83,296.

Bill, Brian and I are still 1-2-3 in the season standings.  Nobody in the top 8 made any moves, though the standings look a little tighter.

The next event in about 10 days is Wells Fargo Championship in Charlotte, North Carolina.  It will be the next to the last tournament of the Spring Season and the final "Tiger May Care" event of the spring.  I don't know if Tiger will be playing, and frankly I don't care.  Maybe we'll have a "Smitty Doesn't Care" pool next year.

Get those picks in on time.

Later,
