Sorry for the delay in sending out this email, but I've been busy celebrating my Memorial Tournament win.  The Commish got his 2nd win of the year, finishing $25,854 ahead of Steve, thanks mostly to T13 Duhstin Johnson surviving the back 9.  Steve had all 7 of his golfers make the cut, I had 6, and both of us had the same 4 top 5 finishers plus T13 Kevin Na.  But my pick of D.J. earned enough to top Steve's T18 Bill Haas and 71st place finisher, Mr. 85.  Brian grabbed 3rd place, ending up $213,404 behind Steve.  Jordie and Bill tied for 4th, $57,412 out of the money.

Steve's second 2nd place finish of the Summer Season moved him into 1st in that race.  Dave dropped one spot to 2nd and trails Steve by about $657k.  Brian moved up one spot to 3rd, just under $224k behind Dave.  I'm on the bubble, around $52k short of the last money spot.

The top 4 spots in the Year-Long pool remained the same.  They are still Steve, Brian, Dave and me, in that order.

Our next tournament, in about 9 days is the 2nd major of the year, The U.S. Open, at Chambers Bay Golf Course in University Place, Washington.  Chambers Bay is a links style public course south of Seattle.  There has never been a major there before, but the course looks like it's going to be pretty tough, especially if the wind blows.  Another British Open style U.S. Open.  I really don't mind that, links golf is the way the game is suppose to be played.  And there better be some high scores... that's the way the U.S. Open is suppose to be played.

Get those picks in on time.

Later,
