Hugh Wins The Canadian Open!

Uniques shooting 64 on Sunday are for sure good, eh...

Let's Get It On!Hugh had 3 of the top 4 finishers, including winner Jhonattan Vegas as a unique, and won this week in run-away fashion.  It was Hugh's first win in 26 tournaments and his 2nd cash of 2016.  Also key in his victory, besides the lack of clutch play from the golfers in the final groups, was T2 Jon Rahm and his final round 67.  All 3 money winners this week were the only players to pick Rahm.  Mike M. finished 2nd, $877,323 behind Hugh.  Joe grabbed the final money spot ending up $22,302 behind Mike.  Oliver was 4th, missing a cash by $19,519.

The top 3 in the Summer Season race did not change.  They are, in order, Jordie, me and Randy.  Hugh moved up 4 spots to the money bubble.

I maintained my Year-Long lead.  Jordie is still 2nd.  Mike M. moved back into the final payout spot.  Randy fell one place to 4th.

We are at it again this week, back in the States in Springfield, New Jersey and Baltusrol G.C. and Glory's Last Shot, The PGA Championship.  As I have mentioned in past years the PGA of America dumped the "Glory's Last Shot" slogan in 2013 under pressure from the PGA Tour because the PGA Tour wants people to believe Glory can be won in the Fed-Ex Cup.  Giant wads of money are won in the Fed-Ex Cup, glory is won in majors.  And this is the final major of the year and golf pooling glory is on the line.

Get those picks in on time.

Later,
