Andrew Wins The Valspar Championship!

All those deuces and they made the difference...

Let's Get It On!Andrew picked up his first career cash with a victory this week.  He was the only player with 3 top 10 finishers, 6th place Charl Schwartzel and T7's Wesley Bryan and Henrik Stenson.  The Pool as a whole only found 4 top 10's and none in the top 4 places.  Andrew beat out 2nd place Jordie, who picked up his 2nd consecutive cash, by just over $125k.  Dave benefited from the final round 64 of Tony Finau and snuck into the last money spot, a bit more than $47k behind Jordie.  I was this week's bubble boy, about $15k or one cut-maker, or one stroke more by Finau, short of the money.

No one's team won enough to change the top 4 in the Season standings.  The order is still Jordie, Brian T., Mike M. and Randy.

Remember to get your March Madness bracket in by Thursday at noon.  If you didn't get, or read, the "Valspar picks are up" email and want to play in the Rule 20-6 NCAA bracket pool, email me for details or click the "Valspar Picks Are Up" link in the Rule 20-6 News on the home page.

You are going to need to get some golf picks in by Thursday, too.  And a bit earlier than the brackets are due as well.  No time off; we are heading northeast on I-4 from Tampa to Orlando in about 3 days for the Arnold Palmer Invitational.  This will be the first tournament without The King, so I would expect a good field to show up out of respect.  However, that might be a lot to ask from a Tour player.  I read Tiger dropped out, but he's barely a Tour player anyway.  I will be putting in my best set of picks out of respect for Arnie.

Get those picks, and brackets, in on time.

Later,
