 The picks and round 1 standings are on the site. We chose 25
golfers. Young Rory was the favorite and a unanimous pick.
Spieth and Day tied for the 2nd most popular choice, chosen 15
times each. Hideki shows up 13 times. Kuchar was picked 9
times. Eight of us like D.J.'s chances. Bubba got the nod 7
times. Reed and Fowler are 4-baggers. Dufner is the only
trey. Furyk, Knox and Thomas are this week's deuces.Almost half the golfers picked are uniques, 12. Oliver, Joe, Dan and Mike M. have 2 each. Andrew, Chris, Hugh and Mike D. have one each. The other half of the Pool players do not have that Golden Bear unique. I would say we have 4 pretty clear favorites. Three more mid-favorites then, hey, it's balls to the wind, let's just go for it golf pooling. There are some pretty good golfers as unique picks and I'll bet that's what makes the difference. We are at Jack's Place, which means a good tournament with a bunch of crappy weather. The weekend looks grim for the weather, but Jack will make damn sure this is gonna be a good one...
