Randy Wins The Quicken Loans National!

Looks like he's not the only one ready to come back...

The Rule 20-6 Golf Pool Tournament #12 trophy.Four players had the top 4 pool picks, which were winner Frank Molinari, T4 that Tiger guy, T6 Beau Hossler and 12th place Rickie Fowler.  Randy was the only one of the 4 players with the next best pick, T13 Marc Leishman, and with one other T32 cut maker won this week by $33,622 over Steve.  It was Randy's first win since the 2017 Houston Open and his 3rd cash of the year.  Steve cashed for the 2nd time this year and had all 7 golfers make the cut, but his 3 different picks couldn't overcome Randy's 2.  Mike M. suffered from a unique case of the Screaming Streelmans on Sunday and finished 3rd, $3,416 behind Steve.  I ended up the bubble boy, $103,747 behind Mike.

Hugh moved up one spot to take over the Summer Season lead.  Andrew came up 2 places to 2nd.  Jordie fell from 1st to 3rd and Joe dropped one spot to 4th.

The top 3 in the Year-Long race stayed the same, Mike M., Andrew and me.  Steve made a nice jump from 8th to 4th.

No break this week.  We are back at it starting this Thursday in West "By God" Virginia at the Greenbrier Resort on The Old White TPC course for The Greenbrier Classic.  The actual name of the tournament this year is "A Military Tribute at The Greenbrier Classic".  That name is entirely too long, so I will be referring to it as just The Greenbrier Classic.  No disrespect intended towards the Military, the site just can't handle tournament names of that length.  I'll probably use the same tournament logo as last year, but that's just because I'm lazy.  Hopefully a few more big name golfers will show more respect to the military than they did to Tiger last week and show up to play.

Get those picks in on time.

Later,
