|Bill Wins The Wells Fargo Championship!|
|Uniques are overrated...|
Bill had 4 golfers in the top 10 and all
7 of his golfers make the cut and won this week by $34,089 over
Andrew. It was Bill's 2nd win in a row and 4th cash of the
year. It was also his 30th career tournament win, only the 2nd
player to reach that mark. Andrew had the low pool finisher,
2nd place Joel Dahmen, as a unique but only 3 top 10's and 6 cut
makers, leaving him a bit short of Bill's total. It was his 3rd
2nd place finish of the year. Dave A. finished 3rd, $22,002
behind Andrew; his 4th cash of the year. I ended up 4th,
$54,736 behind Dave. Joe and Brian G. tied for the dreaded
money bubble spot, around $194k out of the last pay position.
Mike D. hung on to win the Spring TMC by about $395k. Bill moved up from 5th to nail down 2nd. $13,346 behind Bill in 3rd was Andrew. Brian T. finished 4th, $18,224 away from Andrew. Mike M. found 5th place, about $216k out of the money.
Bill won the Spring Season title, about $408k better than Mike M. Mike's 2nd place was just under $280k better than 3rd place Brian G. Steve grabbed the last Season pay spot, around $122k short of Brian. Mike D. was 5th, $302k short of the winners.
Those were some close season races, the closest I can remember in a while. But that is now in the past. We will start the Summer Season in about 9 days and we won't start out light either. We begin the Summer with a major, now called Glory's Second Shot, I guess, The PGA Championship. This year it will be at the Bethpage State Park Black Course in Farmingdale, New York. Guess who won a major there way back when? Guess who will be the media favorite? Guess who won't be watching much media coverage of this major? If you went with Tiger on the first two questions and me on the third, you are correct. But it is a major so I will be watching some, but selectively with my finger on the mute button at all times.
Get those picks in on time.
