 Only one player this week had all 7 of their picks make the
cut. Elise was smart enough not to pick Fat Phil, had winner
Brandt Snedeker, t8 D.A. Points and t13 Bubba Watson on her team
and won this week by $65,160 over Bill. Bill also had Snedeker,
Points and Watson on his team, but made the Mickelson Mistake
and couldn't overcome Elise's extra pick. Steve finished 3rd,
$11,160 behind Bill. I was the bubble boy this week, $62,700
out of the money.Being the first tournament of the year, see the paragraph above for the season standings. The next event in about 10 days is The AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am. Idiotic celebrities, unknown corporate CEO's with vanity handicaps and 6 hour rounds won't ruin the tournament this year... Tiger's playing and he's back! Well, almost back anyway. He was no Kyle Stanley, but he couldn't bring home a victory on the European Tour today, which was played in the Middle East. Playing a European Tour event in the Middle East is like playing a U.S. PGA Tour event in Mexico, or worse, California. But it doesn't matter. Nothing else matters. Golf will be a real game again when Tiger is back. And he's almost there. Almost. That's what the Golf Channel and ESPN say, so it must be true. Must be. Get those picks in on time. Later,
