The Arnold Palmer Invitational Picks Are Up!

What's-His-Name! What's-His-Name! What's-His-Name!...

Let's Get It On!The picks and round one standings for this week's tournament are on the site.  We chose 29 golfers.  We all bought in to the hype and picked what's-his-name, making him the first unanimous pick of the year.  So now he doesn't matter, again.  If he does well this week I'll start using his real name.  Jason Day was the 2nd favorite choice of the week, picked 15 times.  Justin Rose made 14 teams.  Tommy Fleetwood was chosen 12 times.  Rickie Fowler got the nod 9 times.  Patrick Reed and Alex Noren were picked 7 times each.  Five of us like Adam Scott.  Emiliano, Hideki, Rory and Bubba are treys.  The deuces are Stenson, Harman, Hatton and Louie O.

Lucky 13 uniques.  Oliver and Hugh lead with 3 each.  Joe and Mike D. have 2 each.  Dave, Brian T. and Mike M. have one each.  The other 10 of us didn't take chances like The King would have and are uniqueless for the week.  Brian G. and Mike A. have the same 7 golfers.

It looks like Bill, Steve and I are the only basketball fans in this group.  The 3 of us will be battling for the Rule 20-6 March Madness pool, winner take all.

This bunch of picks is pretty similar to last week, but a little more wide open.  A few favorites and mid-range picks, then 21 of 29 are uniques, deuces or treys.  This could be a good opportunity for someone, or a couple players, to make a good move in the season race.  This is the first "TMC" event of the year.  Bay Hill doesn't seem to be playing as tough as usual so far, but if the wind picks up they'll be grinding.  This one is named for The King, it just has to be a good one...

Let's get it on!

Later,
