 The organized picks and round one
standings for this week's tournament are on the site. We chose
28 golfers. McIlroy was unanimous among those who updated their
teams, chosen 16 times. J.T. shows up 15 times. The Man in
Orange was picked 13 times. Fleetwood is on 10 teams. The
Tiger guy was chosen 9 times. Day and Reed are on 7 teams
each. Phil got the nod 5 times. Finau and Simpson are
4-baggers. Matsuyama, Kisner and Noren are treys. The deuces
this week are Casey, Scott, Kizzire, Rochambeau and Louie O.Ten uniques. Jordie has 6 of them but only 2 are playing. Bill, Oliver, Joe and Dave have one each. The remaining 12 of us won't be Carolina blue or Wolfpack red over a unique pick. This one is a really tight bunch of picks. Throwing out the non-playing golfers we have 24 picks with 14 of them uniques, deuces or treys. I'm pretty sure those 1-2-3's will make the difference. It' too tight everyplace else. The course is playing tough, despite the rough being down and the greens slower than they were for the PGA Championship last year. This is a perfect setup for the Spring Season "moving tournament". Golf pooling at its best... Let's get it on! Later,
