Brian G. Wins The Wells Fargo Championship!

That was a pretty boring Pool Sunday...

The Rule 20-6 Golf Pool Tournament #8 trophy.Brian G. paired winner Jason Day with 4th place Bryson DeChambea and along with one other top 10, 8th place Patrick Reed, and all 6 of his cut makers T21 or better, squeaked out a win this week by $11,550 over Steve.  It was Brian's first win and 2nd cash of the year.  Steve had all 7 of his golfers make the cut in his first cashing team of the year, but needed one less stroke from T5 Mickelson or T21 Webb Simpson, his only differences from Brian.  Mike M. finished 3rd, about $298k behind Steve; his 4th cash of the year.  Oliver found the bubble, approximately $158k away from the money.

Mike M. increased his lead in the Season pool to $1.023 million over 2nd place Dan. I moved up one spot to 3rd and trail Dan by $1,149,402.  Brian G. moved up from 8th place to 4th and trails me by $282,565.  Five other players are within about $1.3 million of the last money position.

At the 3/4 pole of the Spring "TMC" Dan leads Oliver by $355,387.  Mike M. is 3rd and trails Oliver by $471,430.  Brian made a serious move from 10th to 4th and is $879,501 out of the final money spot.

The Spring Season is on the line this week.  We tee it up again this Thursday at the infamous TPC Sawgrass in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida for the big money Players Championship.  With an $11 million purse a lot of people are still in the hunt for some spring whip-out.  A unique winner is what golf pooling dreams are made of...  I personally just love the lore and tradition of this prestigious tournament played on such a majestic course.  Believe that and believe Tiger will be unanimous this week.

Get those picks in on time.

Later,
